Faisalabad: A meeting between Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad, Sohail Akhtar Sukhera and a delegation of the Faisalabad Bar Association was held at the Regional Police Office on Wednesday, where matters of mutual cooperation, coordination between police and the legal fraternity, judicial issues and the prevailing security situation were discussed.City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Sahibzada Bilal Umar, SSP Operations Furqan Bilal and SSP Investigation Saleem Abbas were also present. The bar association delegation was led by President District Bar Faisalabad Mian Tariq Mahmood and included Vice President Rana Rashid Ali, Secretary Kaleemullah Gull, Joint Secretary Malik Sajid Shakeel, Finance Secretary Hafsa Sabira Nargis, Library Secretary Muhammad Zeeshan Sheikh along with other executive members.During the meeting, the lawyers highlighted issues faced by the legal community, particularly in relation to court matters and security concerns. The RPO Sohail Sukhera assured the delegation of full cooperation in resolving their issues.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera emphasized that mutual cooperation between all institutions is essential for ensuring the rule of law and maintaining peace and order. He said that effective coordination between the police and the bar associations plays a key role in ensuring timely and transparent delivery of justice and safeguarding the public.He further noted that social stability is not possible without the supremacy of law and that joint efforts by all stakeholders are necessary to strengthen the justice system and improve law and order in the region.
