Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail along with DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu visited Safe City Sahiwal, reviewed the monitoring of various cameras installed in the Safe City office in detail, the Safe City project is very important for citizens and students, the work of installing cameras outside educational institutions should be completed soon, the installation of Safe City cameras outside schools and colleges across the district will make the security of educational institutions more effective and timely identification and remediation of any unpleasant incident will be possible, Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail – According to the details, Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail visited Safe City Sahiwal along with DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu. During the visit, he reviewed the monitoring of various cameras installed in the Safe City office in detail. On this occasion, SSP Safe City Incharge Sahiwal Rana Fawad gave a detailed briefing to the Commissioner Sahiwal and the DPO on various aspects of the Safe City project. In the briefing, the installation of five panic buttons installed in Sahiwal city and their effectiveness were also informed. The Commissioner Sahiwal also practically reviewed the testing call made through the panic button. The Commissioner and the DPO were informed that Safe City cameras are to be installed outside schools and colleges in Sahiwal city, after which security around educational institutions can be made more effective. In this regard, Chief Executive Officer Education Tanveer Ghazali gave a briefing about the proposed installation of cameras outside schools and colleges and also informed about other obstacles faced, including internet issues. Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail, terming the Safe City project as very important for the safety of citizens and students, directed the concerned officers to complete the process of installing cameras outside schools and colleges as soon as possible and to resolve technical issues in a timely manner so that the security system can be made more effective.
