Following the failed D-Chowk protest, a PTI Core Committee meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, where tensions flared between Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi. Sources indicate that Gandapur responded sharply to Bushra Bibi, stating that he is a soldier of the PTI founder, not anyone else.

Former PTI member Faisal Vawda blamed Bushra Bibi and General (R) Faiz for the party’s downfall, calling them the key reasons behind its destruction. During the meeting, core committee members criticized the central leadership, especially for failing to mobilize party workers. Members also took issue with President Arif Alvi for not organizing the workers properly.

Bushra Bibi expressed anger at former president Alvi’s stance, while Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahram Tarakai also became frustrated with her. Former Speaker Asad Qaiser denied reports of him being nominated as PTI chairman, and tensions continued to rise with disagreements over leadership and the planning of future protests.

Discontent was further fueled by a statement from Shoaib Yousafzai, which Bushra Bibi found upsetting, while other leaders, including Mushtaq Ghani, backed Yousafzai. Members questioned why leadership decisions regarding the protest and workers’ roles weren’t made in advance.
