In Lahore, the price of chicken meat has decreased by 36 rupees over the past four days, with a further drop of 15 rupees today. The official price of chicken meat is now 453 rupees per kilogram, down from 468 rupees per kilogram yesterday.
Meanwhile, the price of live broiler chickens has dropped by 10 rupees, bringing the wholesale price to 299 rupees per kilogram and the retail price to 313 rupees.
On the other hand, the price of eggs continues to rise, with a further increase of 1 rupee, pushing the price to 350 rupees per dozen.
