Toba Tek Singh: Hundreds protested in Toba Tek Singh, demanding the government take action against smog and pollution. Organized by the Pakistan Brick-Kiln Workers Union and Pakistan Kissan Rabita Committee, protesters called for a coal ban, an end to fossil fuel expansion, and a transition to renewable energy. Leaders highlighted Pakistan’s potential for solar and wind energy and criticized the growing reliance on coal. They urged both the government and developed countries to take responsibility and fund climate action to address the environmental crisis.
