Climate Change Poses Serious Threat to Agriculture, Warns Dr. Sajid-ur-Rehman

At an AARI seminar in Faisalabad, Dr. Sajid-ur-Rehman, Director General Agriculture Research Punjab, warned that climate change could severely impact Pakistan’s agriculture if not addressed urgently. Experts noted rising temperatures, water scarcity, and smog as major challenges affecting crop yields. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib encouraged farmers to adopt sustainable practices, including organic fertilizers, to mitigate climate impacts.
