Rana Basharat Ali Khan, Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement, urged the international community to address Lebanon’s worsening humanitarian crisis during a statement in Geneva. He highlighted the displacement of over 60,000 individuals to Syria and the overwhelming strain on local resources. Khan called for increased financial support from the UN and EU, as well as enhanced diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire, emphasizing the need for coordinated relief efforts to uphold human dignity and provide essential aid to affected populations.
