Rana Basharat Ali Khan, Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement, has urged the international community to respond urgently to Sudan’s worsening humanitarian crisis. Speaking from Geneva, he highlighted the need for an immediate ceasefire and unhindered humanitarian access as millions face dire conditions amid ongoing conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces.

With over five million displaced and 25 million in need of assistance, Khan stressed the importance of global intervention to protect civilians. His appeal aligns with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ calls for accountability and immediate humanitarian relief to address the crisis in Sudan.
