However, the event faces complications as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called for protests during the same time. Public criticism has been mounting, with some accusing PTI of working against national interests.
The federal government has announced stringent security measures, and a public holiday has been declared in the capital to facilitate the smooth running of the summit. The event will see the participation of over 200 international media representatives, including members from India.
Despite these preparations, many are concerned that the protests could harm Pakistan’s image on the global stage during this critical international event.
