Prayers Service Arranged by Muttahidah on Yaum-e-Shuhadah

Houston, Texas (12-19-2009 - Pakistan Chronicle Report): Houston and other Units of Muttaihidah Qaumi Movement USA (MQM-USA), organized prayers services throughout USA, to commemorate the Day of the Martyrs (Yaum-e-Shuhadah), including the Martyred Brother and Nephew of Leader of the Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain. In Houston, an event was organized this past Saturday at Sheikh Chili at Hillcorft.
It must be recalled that on December 05, 1995, Mr. Altaf Hussain's brother and nephew, Nasir Hussain (62) and Arif Hussain (28) were abducted; and on December 09, 1995, their mutilated bodies were found in Gaddap, Karachi.
After the recitation of Quran, Major Najmi (Unit In-Charge) and G. M. Chishti informed that since the inception of MQM, several workers and leaders, including the household of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain, have given their lives, for a better democratic Pakistan and that this day of the martyrs marks the great sacrifices offered by all of them.
Later on the Fatiha and Prayers were offered by Katy Masjid Imam Hafiz Mudassir. Prayers were done for all the martyrs of the movement, as well as the sufferers of the recent bomb blasts, in the wave of terrorism throughout Pakistan.
Major Najmi also announced that it is heartening to see more persons taking interest in the activities of MQM-Houston and that is why their organizing team has been expanded. It includes Major Najmi (Unit In-Charge); Imtiaz Ahsan (Joint In-Charge); Jamshed Warsi; Akhalq Ahmed; Mohammad Shamim (Clear-Lake Area); Azam Akhtar; G. M. Chishti; Rehan Ghalib; Sohail Omar; Faheem Siddiqui; Mohammad Saeed; Syed Ali Johar; Kanwar Anjum; Mohammad Ahmed; and Azam Akhtar.
